Who we are
AvantBlk is a cultural festival and creative platform dedicated to celebrating Black and Afro-diaspora music, art, and community. Curated by Philadelphia-based recording artist Fitch Means, AvantBlk was created with the intent to authentically highlight the culture while providing a space where emerging and established creatives can be seen, heard, and supported.
Rooted in the energy and legacy of Philadelphia, AvantBlk brings together live music, DJ culture, visual art, and entrepreneurship to create an immersive experience that reflects the evolution of Black expression. More than just an event, AvantBlk is a gathering of culture; where sound, creativity, and community intersect.
Through intentional programming and community-driven experiences, AvantBlk aims to amplify voices across the diaspora, celebrate innovation, and build a platform that continues to grow with the culture it represents.
